Acknowledge Them

appreciate-acknowledgeAlthough we sometimes need correction, we also need acknowledgement for what we are doing well. Notice how Paul balanced correction and acknowledgement. First, he  praised the Thessalonians for growing in faith and patience, then he corrected their wrong thinking (2The 1:3-4). Even more noteworthy is that Paul didn’t just praise them. He thanked God for them. How often do you balance the way you correct others by thanking God for the good that you find in them?
