Are You Confident or Proud?

How important is the difference between confidence and pride?

The difference is important to God.

One is poise. The other is sin.

• Confidence: If you are confident, you know that God loves you. You know He provides what you need to accomplish what He asks. Confidence is poise based on faith.  Php 4:13
• Pride: If you are proud, you don’t think you need God. You think you can do things under your own power. Pride is sin based on putting yourself above others and equal with God. Pro 16:5, Pro 16:18
