What is Personal Discipline?

Personal discipline is beyond doing the mandatory and avoiding the prohibited.

Personal discipline involves self-denial (1Cor 10:23).

It is making choices that strengthen you as a leader.

Though Paul was gifted, he did not rest on those abilities (1Cor 15:10).

In fact, he was almost obsessive about being disciplined (1Cor 9:24-27).

He was more concerned about his own failure to remain disciplined than he was about other people attacking him.
