Listen Before You Speak

You’ve probably heard the advice to think before you speak.

For spiritual leaders, there’s even better advice: Listen to God before you speak.

Like the prophet Nathan, there are times when we say something that makes perfect sense, only to learn that God has a different plan, 2Sam 7:3-16.

As godly leaders, let’s remind ourselves to ask God what He wants and listen to Him before we do or say anything.
