Your Response is Key

key-responseLeadership is difficult. If it were easy, everyone would do it!

Although leaders should have an optimistic outlook on life, they must bathe it in reality. Read Paul’s leadership outlook in 1Corinthians 4:9-16. Highlight his trials and then his response.

“Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of your response”  -Chuck Swindoll. 

Notice Paul’s response and try to emulate it.

 


Why Suffer?

How mature are you as a leader (Rom 5:1-5)? If you are running from tribulation, you may be running from the people God wants you to reach. Afflictions are God’s method of developing patience in you. You might not like it at the time, but God’s timetable is different from yours. Get used to it. Embrace it. Anticipate it. Dare to love it.
