Faith and Sacrifice

faith-heb-11

Moses made choices that appeared ridiculous to the Egyptians. Read Hebrews 11:23-29 noting the connection between faith and willing sacrifice.

Moses became one of the greatest leaders in history because he was willing to sacrifice pleasure to follow God’s purpose. Consider how your faith factors into your willingness to sacrifice some of the world’s pleasures to follow the plan God has for your life. How does this affect your influence as a leader?

It does take a great amount of faith to be able to give up something you know in order to gain something better. Something you might not know about. In this I see what God can do if you are truly able to put your faith and trust in Him. Your posts are thought provoking; they could almost serve as devotionals.
