Recently, I read a quote from Henry David Thoreau

that made me think about the minds of leaders.

“As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.”

From there, God’s Word showed me that where I allow my mind to focus will affect me spiritually and as a leader.

Lord, may all leaders think on things that are honorable, just, pure, and well-pleasing to You. Php 4:8

I pray daily for our leaders to seek God’s wisdom and to make decisions that are for the common good! Your post is very encouraging!

This is good leadership advice, gracelead. I often find myself recirculating negative memories from the past. But this only sabotages the present and compromises my ability to lead in the future. I enjoy you blog! You make one good point, without using too many words. This allows we to take your nugget of leadership truth and be on my way. Blessings!
