Sometimes, there is a person with leadership potential who is unsure of their abilities. Are you willing to stand beside them and take the reins as God builds their confidence? When they are ready, do you gladly hand the reins to them as you stand by in a supporting role?
In Exo 6:28-12:33, we see this dynamic with Moses and Aaron.
- Plagues 1-5: Aaron used God’s staff while Moses observed.
- Plague 6: Aaron and Moses worked together.
- Plagues 7-10: Moses used God’s staff while Aaron watched. After that, Moses remained in the lead role.
