Being a prideful leader or following a prideful leader is a recipe for disaster, Jer 48:29-30.
God warns us that boasting accomplishes nothing good.
The reason is that pride is rebellion against God by putting yourself above Him.
Self-reliance is risky.
We all need a bigger view of God and a smaller view of ourselves, Jer 48:42.
