Vision Leads to Obedience

God wanted Peter to know that the gospel is for all to hear, not just the Jews.

To encourage Peter’s obedience, He gave him a vision, Acts 10:9-16.

Next, God gave Peter an opportunity, Acts 10:17-23.

God confirmed the vision with the reaction of Cornelius, Acts 10:24-33.

At that point, it was clear to Peter that God would accept anyone who feared Him and accepted Christ as Lord, Acts 10:34-36.

Ask God for a vision that will encourage your obedience to share the gospel with everyone.
Ask the Holy Spirit to point out the opportunities you have to talk about Jesus.
Rest in the assurance that Jesus Christ is ready to welcome anyone who is willing to accept Him as Lord, Acts 10:37-43.
