God wanted Peter to know that the gospel is for all to hear, not just the Jews.

To encourage Peter’s obedience, He gave him a vision, Acts 10:9-16.

Next, God gave Peter an opportunity, Acts 10:17-23.

God confirmed the vision with the reaction of Cornelius, Acts 10:24-33.

At that point, it was clear to Peter that God would accept anyone who feared Him and accepted Christ as Lord, Acts 10:34-36.

  • Ask God for a vision that will encourage your obedience to share the gospel with everyone.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to point out the opportunities you have to talk about Jesus.
  • Rest in the assurance that Jesus Christ is ready to welcome anyone who is willing to accept Him as Lord, Acts 10:37-43.
