It’s a challenge to overcome the following obstacles to hearing God’s Word:
- talking too much, Pro 17:27
- speaking before you listen, Pro 29:11
- giving in to your flesh, Col 3:5-9
If you are a Christ-follower, allow your faith to overcome those obstacles, Jas 1:19-25.
Pray, asking God to guide you to:
- listen before you speak
- seek God’s way rather than your way
- credit God for any good done through you
- encourage you to be in His Word every day
- remind you to apply what He shows you in His Word.
Faith is powerful in learning.
