Consider three ways that loving money can hurt you. When you love money:
- you begin to trust money rather than God. That is dangerous, Pro 11:28, Mat 6:19-21.
- you put all your effort into making money instead of building your relationship with God, Pro 13:7, Luke 16:13-15.
- you are, in effect, focused on satisfying your physical self. That will lead to less satisfaction and more harm longterm, Ecc 5:10-11, 1Tim 6:8-10.
It’s your choice. Do you love money or do you love God?
