Prestigious Title

Jesus considered John the Baptist (not the author of the gospel) to be the greatest person born of women (Mat 11:11). This is a prestigious title. Read John 3:22-36 to discover how he got that title.

  • By God’s standards, if a person seeks a prestigious title, does that disqualify the person for the title?
  • What characteristics would you look for in a person before giving him or her a prestigious title?
