Refuse to Compromise

compromise-noBeing God’s kind of leader means refusing to compromise what you believe. Mordecai was such a leader (Est 3:1-6). Haman demanded a show of reverence that was like worship. By refusing to bow down to Haman, Mordecai followed God’s commandment to have no other gods before Him (Exo 20:3-5).

This was a dangerous thing to do since Haman had a great deal of power.

Ive been reading Esther for the second time and it’s always such an inspiration. I’ve learned a lot from experiences and it’s so important to be prepared before the fact yet still get back up after the fact if you weren’t and keep fighting for Gods glory.
