God showed Jeremiah two baskets of figs, Jer 24.

One was full of good figs. The other was full of bad figs.

This was a picture of what God was doing with two groups of people.

  • God was moving the good figs someplace for their own good. If they returned to Him with their whole hearts, they would be His people.
  • God was leaving the bad figs where they were to bear the consequences of their choices.

Perhaps God has moved you someplace for your own good.

The situation may not seem ideal from your perspective; however,

if you turn to God with your whole heart, He will acknowledge You

as part of His family. Are you a good fig?
