Lean on His Promises

At one point, Israel had no leadership:

They had stopped fearing God, Hosea 10:1-2.
Their leaders did not keep the promises they made to the people, Hosea 10:3-4.

As a leader:

Do you point people to the promises that God makes?
Can people depend on you to keep the promises you make and be an example of leaning on God’s promises?

Take that responsibility seriously. It would be bad if they stopped following you. It would be even worse if they no longer followed God because of your poor example.

Each morning before I get up from my rocker and take the circular staircase back down to the kitchen for breakfast, I pray, “Dear Lord, help me be who You made me to be.
