Do you notice that some quickly take credit when something goes well? They may briefly mention those who participated, but primarily seek attention for themselves.
Do you notice that some people hesitate to take credit for themselves and tend to say “we” did it instead of “I” did it?
Consider what Zechariah 4:6-10 tells us about taking credit.
- Any great work is NOT by your power, but by God’s Spirit.
- God works through you, but He is in control.
- Your role should be to allow Him to work through you to glorify Him.
