Loving others is a key factor for Christ-following leaders, Rom 13:8-10. How would you assess that in yourself?

  • Are you kind to others, Rom 12:10?
  • Do you pray for others, Jas 5:16?
  • Do you seek the well-being of others 1Cor 10:24?
  • According to God’s Word, do you teach others and learn from others, Col 3:16-17?
  • Do you comfort others and caution them when they appear to be going against God’s plan, 1The 5:11-15?
  • Do you use your gifts to glorify God and serve others as God directs, 1Pet 4:10?

How did you do?

  • Any “no” or “sometimes” answer is an indicator that God has some work to do in your life. Keep praying that God molds you into a loving leader as you release more control to Him.
  • All “yes” answers is an indicator that you are a loving leader. Note: Unless you surrender to Him fully, you are bound to slip occasionally. Keep praying that God will continue to guide you as a loving leader.
