The most effective leaders stay engaged in their relationship with God, Deu 6:1-6.
From that, they set an example for those under their care. Here are some tips:
- Teach: Look for moments in your daily interactions where you can show someone how to apply God’s Word, Deu 6:7.
- Model: Ask God to show you how to live a life that sets a godly example, Deu 6:8-9.
- Point: Keep pointing to the importance of focusing on spiritual things and God as our provider, Deu 6:10-11, Mat 6:33.
- Persist: Never forget who God is. Be diligent in finding opportunities to talk about and apply God’s Word, Deu 6:12.
