If you can’t fall asleep because your mind continues to process tasks, perhaps you are trapped in a Rat Race.

The problem with a rat race is that even if you win, you’re still a rat.  (Lily Tomlin)

Where is your focus?

Is it on checking everything off that long To Do list or is it on pleasing the Lord?

If you agree that you are caught up in a Rat Race, what can you do to leave it?

  • Change your focus to allow Him to work through you (Heb 13:20-21).
  • Spend time in Bible reading and prayer.
  • As you do, listen to Him.
  • Then do what He says.

Instead of running a rat race, you’ll be running the good race that He intends.

Happy to be retired … to have left the rat race behind in California – and to be living the life of Godly leisure in beautiful Montana. Hard to find a reason to rush under the Big Sky. Just “cool it!” Yes!! It is “the good race that He intends” – – – and that’s no race at all!!
