Are you a capable leader?

At first glance, that may appear to be an easy question to answer.

Before you answer, consider that capability encompasses much more than skills.

1. How solid is your character (Gal 5:22-23)?
2. Do you know what to do to perform well at your level of responsibility (Pro 20:15)?
3. Are you able to do put the appropriate leadership skills into practice (Pro 22:29)?
4. Do you express your emotions in a way that contributes to a positive climate in your organization (Pro 16:32)? Is your response to the emotions of others helpful?  

Are you teachable?

A good leader will continue to grow in all four of the areas, realizing that each area impacts their development as a leader.
