Source of Your Motives

Jonah wanted God to destroy the people of Nineveh.

When the people repented, God showed them compassion.

This angered Jonah.

To help Jonah see that his motives were faulty, God used the plant as an illustration, Jonah 4.

It was clear that it was God’s choice regarding the plant as well as the people of Nineveh.

What is the source of your motives?

Is it your selfish desires or do you seek to know what motivates God and align your motives with His?
