The physical obstacles that Israel faced in Exodus parallel some of our spiritual obstacles.
- They faced a water shortage, Exo 15:22-24. We thirst spiritually. How do we overcome spiritual thirst? God provides the Holy Spirit, John 7:38.
- They faced hunger, Exo 16:2-3. We get hungry spiritually. How do we get spiritual food? God provides His Word, Mat 4:4.
- They faced attacks, Exo 17:8-11. We get attacked spiritually. How do we overcome spiritual attacks? God invites us to turn to Him in prayer, 1Tim 2:8.
