Daniel provides us an example of a righteous leader.

  • As he prepared for leadership, he decided not to compromise his character and values, Dan 1:8.
  • He worked hard to become the best-qualified person he could be, Dan 1:17.
  • He identified his leader’s needs and did what he could to address them, Dan 2:16.
  • His use of influence was to benefit others on the team, Dan 2:48-49.

Do you share Daniel’s characteristics?

  • Principled: Do you stand firm on issues related to your character and values?
  • Diligent: How much effort do you put into improving your skills to benefit the team?
  • Submissive: Do you seek to understand and address your leader’s needs?
  • Loving: When you use your influence, is it to benefit others on the team?
