Many people long to be “somebody” by the world’s standards.

Could it be better to be nobody?

Although Epaphroditus was a person who served behind the scenes, Paul greatly praised him, Php 2:25-30.

Epaphroditus:

  • was more concerned that the Philippians might be worried about him than he was about his illness.
  • risked his own well-being to minister to Paul.
  • earned Paul’s respect.

Is being a nobody good?

I suggest that it can be good if that is what makes it easier for God to strengthen you spiritually and to use you to glorify Himself.

“If you would have peace, avoid publicity.” Abraham Lincoln

It’s better to serve behind the scenes than in the spotlight. Life, especially in leadership, can be like one big game of “Wack-O-Mole.” If you stick your head up….BAM!🥊

Nobody is a nobody in God’s eyes. I want to see others as He does. We’re all somebody! 👌🏽❤️
